Anti-Ragging at KNU

Ragging is a punishable offence. KNU maintains an Anti-Ragging Committee and mobile squads, observes Anti-Ragging Week each August, and follows UGC regulations in full.

Anti-Ragging Committee

10 Members

Enforces the university's zero-tolerance policy on ragging and acts on complaints under UGC regulations.

Anti-Ragging Squads

6 Members

Mobile squads that patrol the campus, respond immediately to incidents and conduct surprise checks.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

21 Members

Drives quality benchmarks across teaching, research and administration, chaired by the Vice Chancellor.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

9 Members

Handles complaints of sexual harassment in line with the POSH Act, with faculty, external and student members.

Women Development Cell

Promotes gender equity and organises programmes for the safety, welfare and development of women on campus.

Training & Placement Committee

Runs the university–industry interface: career readiness, skill development, internships and placement facilitation.

Incubation, Start-up & Entrepreneurship Cell

Nurtures student start-ups and innovation projects, including SSIP (Student Startup & Innovation Policy) support.
